Refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling

This policy applies to paid consultations offered by Machinelearnapps: job search planning engagements, application reviews, interview preparation, relocation timeline mapping, and hourly follow-up advisory.

Eligibility for a full refund

You may request a full refund if you cancel in writing at least five business days before the first scheduled session of an engagement and no session has taken place. If we cancel an engagement and cannot offer a suitable alternative time within fourteen days, you receive a full refund of fees paid for undelivered work.

Partial refunds

If you cancel after one or more sessions in a multi-session package have occurred, we refund the unused portion minus sessions already delivered, calculated on the package rate stated in your confirmation. Work already started on written deliverables (for example annotated CV markup begun after document intake) may reduce the refundable amount for that component.

Non-refundable items

  • Completed single sessions (application review call held, interview practice completed, timeline session completed)
  • Written deliverables already sent to you
  • No-shows without notice for a booked video session

Rescheduling

You may reschedule a session once at no charge if you give at least two business days’ notice. Later changes may be treated as a cancellation of that session slot. We reschedule in good faith when illness or connectivity failures affect either party.

Deposits

When a deposit is requested to hold a planning engagement start date, it is applied to the package fee. Deposits become non-refundable within five business days of the first session unless we cancel.

Refund process and timing

Email info@machinelearnapps.digital with your name, invoice reference, and reason. Approved refunds are processed within fourteen business days to the original payment method where possible. Bank processing times may add several days beyond our action.

Exceptions

Mandatory consumer rights under German law remain unaffected. If a session cannot proceed for reasons attributable solely to Machinelearnapps, you choose between a reschedule and a refund for that session.
